Canvas to couture · Collection 02
Midnight Sunflower Blooms
One painting, four looks. Midnight Sunflower began as a flower on black — loud petals, gold light, green leaves going everywhere — painted by hand, every petal. Then I reimagined it as concept fashion: the same bloom carried across a flowing kaftan, a slip dress, and a bikini and sarong moment. This is canvas to couture: the painting doesn't hang still, it gets worn — envisioned as wearable art.
The painting — Midnight Sunflower
Flower on black, painted by hand. Everything in this collection starts here.
Look 1 — The Kaftan
Beside the painting that started it — the bloom at full height on sheer black.
Look 2 — The Kaftan, Out in the World
The same kaftan, out in the world — the flower worn head to toe.
Look 3 — The Slip Dress
A slip dress moment — the sunflower smaller, sharper, sitting pretty.
Look 4 — The Bikini and Sarong
Sunshine, two ways — a bikini top and a sarong carrying the whole garden.
The source painting, Midnight Sunflower, is one of my originals — a flower on black, painted by hand. These concept looks show my idea of the painting carried onto fabric — envisioned as wearable art, not sewn garments. More collections are coming.
